How to get to Kemble Airport
Kemble Airfield is situated seven miles to the South West of the old Roman town of Cirencester. Access to the site is available via the north gate, just off the A433 Cirencester / Tetbury Road on the north side of the airfield.
Before beginning your journey to Kemble we recommend you telephone our office on 01285 770077, or your booked flying instructor on his mobile number, to confirm that the weather is suitable for your flight. On arrival at the north gate you will have to stop for a moment for security and then just follow the signs for the Control Tower. Our normal rendezvous point is at Hangar 1, Woodside. This is one of the nearest hangars to the Tower and there is a Kemble Flying Club sign on the outside.
Take care to drive safely on the airfield, taking note of speed restrictions. If in doubt of your position report to Ops at the Control Tower and someone will advise you. We hope that you enjoy your visit to Kemble Airfield.
